Scholarship Opportunities
- Live Your Dream Award - This Award offers three levels of cash awards. A finalist has the potential to receive up to $16,000 to help offset tuition costs, purchase books, get transportation, or find reliable childcare so she can worry less about how to pay her bills and focus on reaching her dreams. Opens: August 1 - November 15, 2024.
- “Mom to Scholar” Scholarship for Mothers - Open to mothers who want to begin or resume their journey towards earning a technical or college degree. If you are a mother over the age of 35 who feels that the time is right to begin your academic or career journey, please apply! Deadline: January 31, 2025.

- The Training Source provides education, training and services that promote positive economic mobility. Job training, youth programs, and Microsoft Office Training are some of the resources available.

- Maryland Workforce Exchange - This resource gives you the necessary resources to find, prepare, and apply for a job. The site is designed to help job seekers and employers get connected. It offers a guide to help create a resume, cover letter, and reference sheet.
