Do you remember the person who gave you your first book to read or took the time to help you learn your multiplication table? The person who helped you build your confidence and motivated you to try just a little harder to reach a goal? This is who we are to many of the children we work with. In addition to helping them become fluent readers and proficient in math, we engage them in a wide range of activities that strengthen life skills - communicating, critical thinking - and, equally as important, their confidence.
