Youth Engagement Coordinator ~ Volunteer
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing engaging programs and activities that meet the needs and interests of diverse youth populations.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions, and social events that promote positive youth development, and life skills acquisition.
- Build positive relationships with youth, creating a safe and inclusive space for them to connect, learn, and grow.
- Identify and connect youth with relevant resources and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high schools/colleges/universities, community organizations, and other stakeholders to expand program reach and impact.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of youth engagement programs.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth in a community setting, program environment, or educational context.
- Strong understanding of youth development, culture, and relevant social issues.
- Experience developing and implementing engaging activities for youth.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Undergraduate Senior, Graduate Student or bachelor’s degree.
